Trump Popularity Soars Among Florida Republicans

While the Biden administration continues to crumble as a result of the economic policies it has put in place, former President Donald Trump continues to rise in the polls, especially with Florida Republicans.

In what could be called an “I told you so” campaign for president, the latest polls show that President Trump is still the “big hombre” in Republican politics, and whose stock continues to rise as Biden presidency continues to fall.

While a recent Deseret News poll has voters in Utah split down the middle on whether they would support Trump in the 2024 presidential election, were he to run for president again, Trump’s popularity within the Conservative Republican base of the GOP couldn’t be stronger.

Trump is still the Republican Kingmaker, and that title isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.

Trump’s Save America PAC recently touted a new Republican-only poll conducted by  McLaughlin & Associates, where he still garners overwhelming support of the 600 Florida voters surveyed last week.

According to the poll, Trump’s job approval rating is 92% positive approval ratings, with 73% strongly approving of the former president. Considering that this was a poll weighed down by 100% of Republican voters, President Joe Biden’s disapproval rating among Republicans is a blistering 94%.

Another Gallup Poll shows how powerful Trump’s influence is over Republicans, as the survey shows how far Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s popularity has sunk as a result of the ongoing media war Trump is waging against the “Broken Old Crow” McConnell.

The same Gallup poll shows that Sen. McConnell is also bested by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who is also expected to run for Speaker of the House, if and when Republicans win back the House.

But even with Republicans winning back the House, the Speakership is not McCarthy’s to win as Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) reasserted his position of nominating Trump as Speaker of the House.

"SPEAKER TRUMP's Got a Pretty Good Ring To It,” said Rep. Gaetz in an interview with The Gateway Pundit last weekend.
