Ron DeSantis Calls Biden Administration a 'Regime' on Education

This year saw a mass politicization of the education system, with local school systems stirring up more controversy than the state or federal government.  Now, Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is calling the Biden Administration a 'regime' on education.

Whether it was Critical Race Theory, transgender sports, or Common Core, education was a huge issue in Florida and this past year's legislative session was more than proactive about public schooling in Florida.  CRT was banned, transgenders were prevented from entering female sports, and a bipartisan movement was forged against Common Core.

In a newly released video, the Florida governor is seen reflecting on the changes brought to education in Florida this year, and his administration's efforts to, "support education and we stand with our parents.":

DeSantis spoke on the state of federal and state government's relationships with the nation's parents, and even referred to the Biden Administration as a, "regime." The statements reads, "We're not going to let the federal government come in and impose bad policies or mandates on Floridians.  We're going to make sure we're protecting parents and students in the state of Florida."  Adding,  "We're going to fight to preserve the rights of parents, and as we continue to see the use of fear and intimidation to suppress opposition to the regime, then we're going to find new ways to be able to empower parents' rights to decide what is best for your children"

The Florida governor also shocked the nation earlier this year with the bonuses he distributed to, "all principals and all public school teachers."  The bonuses were equally as impressive as the same $1,000 bonuses DeSantis allotted to first responders across the state.
