Democrats Equate DeSantis to FARC, Dictators Over Civilian Military Force

Share

Democrats continue to reel over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s decision to re-establish the state’s civilian-military force, with even some Socialist-leaning Hispanics now equating DeSantis with Dictators Hugo Chavez and Daniel Ortega, and criminal paramilitary groups and drug traffickers like Colombia’s FARC.

Interestingly enough, if Florida were to activate the civilian-military force, it would join states like New York and California in doing so.

California and New York are considered the two largest bastions of Democratic Party rule in the entire nation.

Marco Frieri, a supporter of President Joe Biden’s failing foreign policy, including the president’s decision to lift the terrorist designation from the FARC, went as far as to compare Gov. DeSantis to the aforementioned dictators.

“In line with Chavez and Ortega’s “colectivos” in Venezuela & Nicararagua (sic), and paramilitaries in Colombia, De Santis aims to create a paramilitary force that only answers to him. Castrochavismo takes Florida, and it’s wearing red,” tweeted Frieri.

Just last month, Frieri tweeted that he believed the U.S. needed to take the terrorist FARC group off the list of known terrorist groups.

In addition, Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried’s gubernatorial campaign consultant Evelyn Pérez-Verdía seconded Frieri, retweeting his call for the Biden administration to loosen the noose around the FARC.

Commissioner Fried has yet to announce whether or not she supports Biden's FARC decision.

But DeSantis isn’t the only one Frieri and other like-minded Democrats are attacking these days.

Frieri, who is said to be supporting Commissioner Fried in the 2022 Democratic gubernatorial primary race, has also taken a shot at fellow Colombian-American and Democratic gubernatorial candidate, state Senator Annette Taddeo.

Frieri posted a video clip of Sen. Taddeo speaking to a Colombian news outlet, where the news anchor questions the senator if Colombians in Florida will support her candidacy after she pushed back against President Biden’s decision to de-list FARC as a terrorist group.

Taddeo said that she was representing the community and listening to them and that she had received numerous calls of support from individuals thanking her for representing them, adding that she also received calls from a very small minority of fence-sitting Colombians that are content with the decision towards FARC.

Frieri, who calls himself a centrist, took issue with his fellow Democrat, stating,” Annette Speaks like a Trumpista and uses Republican propaganda. Speak like DeSantis to attack the Democrats.”

Earlier in the day, Frieri accused Sen. Maria Elvira Salazar (R) of peddling disinformation for tweeting that Biden's FARC decision "emboldens a group of thugs who have promised only more violence."

This could also mean that Taddeo is also pushing disinformation on the issue, right?

With Liberal Democrats and Progressive both having their backs against the wall going into the 2022 midterm elections, could the ongoing power struggle between the warring factions within the Democratic Party end in the bloodiest intraparty Lucha libre cage match ever?
