When it rains it pours, and in the world of Democratic Party politics, the pouring rain usually comes in the form of a Tsunami. The latest Morning Consult and POLITICO poll conducted Dec. 18-20 shows that Americans believe that the job President Joe Biden and the Democratic-controlled Congress flat out stinks.

The poll shows that the approval rating dropped to 41 percent, down 2 percentage points from a previous Gallup poll.

Among Independent voters, President Biden’s overall approval ratings also dropped to 41 percent.

Republicans have been circling the blood-filled Democratic political waters in Washington since Biden took office and since the Pelosi-led House of Representatives began to push Progressive legislation 2018.

Florida Rep. Brian Mast (R) told The Floridian that he was “Not surprised the party which demonized “America First” sees their poll numbers in the dumpster.”

Earlier this week, ‘moderate’ Democratic Rep. Stephanie Murphy shocked the political world when she announced that she wasn’t seeking re-election. Rep. Murphy joined the growing list of Congressional Democrats who have decided to leave Washington instead of facing a potential election night loss in the 2022 midterm election.

Republicans are expected to win back the majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
