In an appearance on the Fox News Channel, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody (R-FL) blasted the Biden Administration over its, "disastrous" border policies that have led to direct illegal immigration to the state of Florida.

Attorney General Moody claims to have long predicted that these policies implemented by the Biden Administration, "would have drastic effects on Florida.  We've seen a record number of overdose deaths because of the rise of criminal cartels, we've seen direct harm to Florida citizens, including murder, including shooting of illegal immigrants at our state law enforcement officers, it has been astounding."

Moody along with Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) recently visited the border for themselves, as Florida has been very active in deploying assistance to border states such as Texas.  Moody claims that she along with Governor DeSantis first hand, "saw the complete lack of any kind of rule of law being applied to the border," adding that, "now we are seeing boats coming up shore, at Florida, and while we've been hearing about this anecdotally for some time now, now that we're seeing videos just shows how much this is happening."

Fox News recently reported an uptick of Coast Guard apprehensions on Florida shores has increased by 1,600%, which many have not believed up until this point.

Fortunately, Moody expressed that these statistics are, "exasperating," adding that,  "we are doing everything we can in the state of Florida to use with our legal authority, every resource we have to protect our citizens."

Previously, Moody has taken legal action to combat the Border Crisis and illegal immigration that is hitting the interior of Florida.  Last Fall, AG Moody sued the Biden Administration for ignoring federal immigration laws as the crisis at the United States and Mexican border intensified.
