Waltz Warns of New Terrorist Group 'Worse than Al Qaeda' in Kabul

While the Biden Administration is being bashed from all corners of the political spectrum for the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal,  US Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) still takes the cake for the most vocal critic.  Now, Waltz warns of new terrorist groups worse than Al Qaeda arising from Kabul.

In an interview with Fox News this week, Rep. Waltz appeared and spoke of a term that may sound foreign to many, "The Haqqani Network."  Waltz described this network as the "most dangerous terrorist group they've ever heard of," adding that their leader "is a combination of Charles Manson and John Gotti combined."

This terrorist organization has risen to power in Kabul, despite the Taliban being the entity to topple the once recognized government of Afghanistan.  Although the Haqqani Network may be new for most Americans, Waltz says that the US military, "has been trying to kill him for decades."

In a Tweet this week Waltz put the blood of hundreds of thousands of Americans on the Haqqani's hands.  The representative described them as, "even more emboldened, armed & dangerous than before":

"He's the number 2 in the Taliban, but his father was Osama Bin Laden's mentor, and really wrote the guide book for international terrorism.  That's who we're dealing with and now he has an international airport to fly anybody, any terrorist, any suicide bomber anywhere he wants.  He's got the powers of the state and security services and an interior minister.  He's got a central bank, and an army's worth of American equipment." - Congressman Waltz on new terrorist leader.

Having been a veteran of the US military and currently presiding on the Armed Services Committee, Waltz has been more than active in critiquing the Biden Administration's foreign policy and making bold predictions.  Just after the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, Waltz anticipated a "new axis powers," with an American absence from the region.
