Scott: Biden ‘is Pushing America off a Cliff’

Share

Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) directed criticism at President Joe Biden (D) and his Administration over the weekend after the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ September Employment Situation Summary. After reviewing the report, Senator Scott’s argued “that U.S. job growth fell to its slowest pace of Joe Biden’s presidency. Thus, the former Governor of Florida, who’s voiced his disapproval of Biden and his Administration, warned that President Biden “is pushing America off a cliff.”

In a statement, Senator Scott expressed that “up in Washington, the inmates are running the asylum,” which he argues has translated to detrimental effects across the United States.

“We have 11 million job openings in this country… there’s no excuse for the job numbers we are seeing from this administration outside of pure stupidity.”

“Is anyone surprised that when you spend months paying able bodied adults more to stay home than go back to work that folks aren’t getting back on the job?” Scott questioned, also questioning if anyone is “shocked that when Biden pushes billions and billions of ‘free’ money to able-bodied adults that folks aren’t getting back to work?”

Scott also questioned if anyone was surprised “when the Biden administration chooses woke, left-wing radicals to run the government that Americans are scared to death of what the government is going to do to their taxes and constitutional rights?”

The Florida lawmaker concluded that “everything Joe Biden has done has led to more fear, less growth and fewer jobs” and that “Joe Biden’s socialist agenda is killing the American Dream.”

Senator Scott’s comments come on the heels of discussions between Republicans and Democrats over President Biden’s infrastructure bill. The bill, while touted by the Administration as the right move forward, has been questioned by both Republicans and Democrats. This resulted in the vote being delayed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) because Democrats like Senator Joe Manchin have announced that they would not vote in favor of the bill.
