After avoiding the border crisis for months, House Democrats have finally decided it was time to address the illegal immigration problem at the border, the northern border with Canada, and not the southern border where tens of thousands of illegal immigrants have crossed over since President Joe Biden took office.

According to Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R), House Democrats have convened in a "CLOSED hearing" to discuss how immigration could be addressed in Michigan of all states.

"Democrats finally are holding a hearing on border security. It's a CLOSED hearing on the NORTHERN BORDER and immigration enforcement in Michigan. Just wow! Can't make this stuff up!" tweeted Rep. Donalds.

Recently, thousands of Haitian illegal immigrants were allowed to enter the country after being detained on the border for a short period of time. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that the majority of the Haitians were released in the U.S.

Border Patrol agents on horseback were falsely accused of whipping Haitians with their reigns, a claim that was quickly disproven. Nine Republican Governors convened this week along the southern border to access the magnitude of the Humanitarian crisis occurring along the border.
