It’s Nikki

JUICE—Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried is said to be the frontrunner in the 2022 Democratic gubernatorial primary race.

No offense to Rep. Charlie Crist, but she is much easier on the eyes to just about everyone in the state than he is, but this race is not all about aesthetics.

While Rep. Crist comes off as more substantive, Commissioner Fried’s campaign gimmicks like her daily rundown on COVID appear to be helping her with the Progressive wing of the Democratic Party.

You need the crazies to be in your corner to win, and it appears that those crazies are backing Fried.

Now, if Sen. Annette Taddeo finally (apurate!) decides to enter the race, then the final vote could be split enough that Crist cruises to victory.

How so?

Well, Sen. Taddeo is also trying to win over the Progressives in her party. After all, not only is she checking off all the right boxes, but she actually goes by pronouns on her Twitter handle.

Taddeo is the “Pronoun candidate.” I’m getting ahead of myself. She hasn’t announced yet.

But with all that said, even some veteran Republican politicos and strategists believe that Fried is the safe bet in this race. READ MORE

—Marco Rubio-Joe Biden and his State Department continue to disgrace themselves by not only leaving Americans stranded in Afghanistan but now blocking at least 6 planes from evacuating many of them

Rick Scott-This is inexcusable & infuriating. First, Biden stranded Americans in Afghanistan and now his administration won’t do the bare minimum required to get them home. Do your job, Mr. President. Bring them home.

Shevrin “Shev” Jones-You're built to handle the pressure that comes with walking in your purpose

—Rep. Anna V. Eskamani -When are rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back!

Annette Taddeo (She/Her/Ella)-Florida deserves a Governor who would actually “be” governor. Today we have a Governor who is more interested in being President than he is running Florida, more worried about Republican primary voters in Iowa than he is of families here in Florida.
