House Democrat Appears to Slip and Admits Abortions Kill Children

Share

For decades, Democrats and other pro-Choice advocates and supporters have argued that abortions don't kill a human beings, some even saying that what is aborted is only "embryo or a fetusjust a simple blob of tissue, a product of conception—not a baby," and that Abortion is terminating a pregnancy, not killing a child.”

But now, after the new Texas abortion ban was allowed to take effect after the U.S. Supreme Court decided not to address the measure,  the outrage coming from the pro-Choice lobby may have inadvertently pushed some to let the cat out of the bag.

Florida Rep. Lois Frankel (D) recently tweeted her disdain for the new bill and in doing so, asserted that the measure would now prevent "a child" from being born.

“The Texas abortion ban puts politics over the health and safety of pregnant people and inserts politicians into the deeply personal decision of if and when to become a parent,” said Rep. Frankel. “Women need the freedom to control their own reproductive destinies in order to lead full, healthy lives, and, at the end of the day, the decision to bring a child into this world should be one they make for themselves with their loved ones and doctors, not with their governor or local representative.” (Source-Congressional Office)

Has the abortion narrative change from some Democrats?

Is that "blog of tissue" actually a child now?

Other House Democrats like Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, also appear to be using verbiage they didn't use before.

"Access to abortion has been cut for millions in TX. Every person must be able to make decisions about their own health & bodies - including abortion," tweeted Rep. Wasserman Schultz.

Wasserman Schultz has never used the term "child," but her use of the term "abortion" may be new. We have looked around and cannot find anywhere where she uses that term to describe the usual "woman's right to choose" narrative that has been a constant with the pro-Choice community.
