Poll: 51% of Americans Disapprove of President Biden

While President Biden (D) may have characterized himself as a unifier literally moments after his inauguration, a new poll has shown that the new president has not yet lived up to that promise.  The breaking poll reports that 51% of Americans so far, disapprove of Joe Biden's job as president.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 27% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15.

While Biden's approval may not be satisfactory for the high bipartisan hopes he supposedly set out for, he still beats President Trump (R) at the same time during his presidency by 6%.  Amazingly, the two are nearly just as popular, so far.

Now that Gallup has quit the field, Rasmussen Reports is the only nationally recognized public opinion firm that still tracks President Biden's job approval ratings on a daily basis.
