After mounting political pressure, VP Kamala Harris (D) has finally (after 90 days) announced that she will be visiting the ongoing border crisis. However, it will not be an easy fix for the Vice President as the move is proving to be controversial with former President Trump (R) claiming Harris' border is "the worst in American history."

This week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) has taken swift measures to secure the Southern Border, even Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has sent support to the region to help curb Biden's immigration problem.

Everyone from governors to Senators, such as Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) who has stated it is "about time Vice President Harris does her job," has commented on the Biden-Harris Administration shrugging off the crisis.

Senator Scott went as far as to say that it was "embarrassing how long the Vice President avoided the crisis she and Biden created," adding that "Now, she needs to see the crisis she's helped create firsthand," and recommending that she "meet with our CBP and ICE agents, and the local law enforcement officers who are working every day to keep us safe."

"She needs to meet with families who have been the victims of trafficking and hears the horrific stories they have and what they’ve been through because of this crisis," added Scott.

Former President Trump has now publicly sent a message to the Vice President and her border efforts so far.

Trump, who is scheduled to visit the border soon and just recently announced his plans, released a statement claiming "If Governor Abbott and I weren't going there next week, she would have never gone,"  furthering the criticism of her border crisis response.

President Trump elaborated:

"After months of ignoring the crisis at the Southern Border, it is great that we got Kamala Harris to finally go and see the tremendous destruction and death that they've created-a direct result of Biden ending my very tough but fair border policies."

Trump continues to believe that the Biden-Harris Administration made the worst out of a good situation, claiming "Harris and Biden were given the strongest border in American history," adding "now it is by far the worst in American history," even the mainstream media has picked up this story with the narrative that Harris' border announcement is only in response to Trump's.
