Miami—With May 1st being arguably the most important communist holiday worldwide, where radical left-of-center groups like ANTIFA and BLM celebrate with violent events, a group of activists from the conservative group called Floridians First held a lawful Pro-America rally on a known protesting location of local ANTIFA members. The rally was held directly in front of Bayside Market Place at the Torch of Friendship on Biscayne Blvd in Miami. This location was chosen due to the visibility of traffic entering and exiting the popular tourist hot spot.
Halfway through the flag-waving rally, one of the elderly flag waivers discovered a cache of weapons, stockpiles of bricks, and other projectiles hidden around the Torch of Friendship. Unknown to the newly formed local Miami-Dade chapter of Floridians First they were unaware that later that afternoon ANTIFA had been planning a May Day event in conjunction with the rest of the world for over a month.
The attendees quickly called the City of Miami Police (MPD) to advise them of their find. Upon further search, MPD discovered eggs and other projectiles in the immediate area hidden from the public in plain sight. The MPD removed the potential weapons from its location securing the area.
Throughout the day certain members of ANTIFA threatened the rally attendees and watching the event from afar. On hand, providing voluntary security, was a controversial conservative group known as the Proud Boys. When one of the Proud Boys was asked why he was there he responded, “I am here to protect the free speech rights of these Patriots. Too many times we have seen ANTIFA prey and hurt the weak, the elderly, and children in support of their ideology. We are here to prevent the ralliers from becoming victims to ANTIFA’s violence.” At 3 PM at the end of the event, many requested a Proud Boy escort to their cars as attendees pointed to ANTIFA still being present.
According to Floridians First, it is an organization whose main goal is to fill the empty positions in the Republican Executive Committees with America First Trump-loving Republicans while draining the swamp of RINOs. “We hold events in various parts of the counties for Patriots to bring their friends, family, and neighbors to get them more involved in the local GOP,” stated President of Floridians First Gabe Carrera. “We are about peaceful political change within the Republican Party not about violent interactions with ANTIFA. We signed up many people today that pledged to get more active in their local GOP.”
Floridians First contents that it is not associated with the Proud Boys, but welcomed their offer of security especially after finding the cache of makeshift weapons stated one local Miami-Dade organizer that identified himself as Chris. “We don’t cancel culture anyone and our events are open to the public. I personally am glad they came because God only knows what could have been done to the public had these weapons not been discovered.” Chris finished the conversation by stating that citizens should not be threatened with violence because of their political beliefs.
Later that evening ANTIFA violently protested by attacking passerby’s whom they believed to be 2020 trump supporters. On their social media feed ANTIFA openly bragged how they harassed and punched Trump supporters in the face. They were equally upset that their cache of weapons was discovered after a month-long of planning.
