House Democrats Given Ultimatum: 'Either you Stand With Israel or you Stand with the Terrorists."

Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R) becomes the latest member of the U.S. House of Representatives to join the bipartisan call for members to “Stand with Israel” and had given House Democrats like Reps. Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rashida Tlaib an ultimatum: “Either you stand with Israel or you stand with terrorists.”

The line in the sand has been drawn.

Rep. Gimenez, who joins Jewish lawmakers and fellow Florida Reps. Ted Deutch(D) and  Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) in denouncing the terror attacks and calling and defending Israel's right to defend itself, tweeted his ultimatum along with a House Resolution he introduced condemning the latest acts of terrorism by Hamas against Israel.

Gimenez’s resolution if you typical boilerplate resolution supporting Israel —condemn the acts of terrorism by Hamas; acknowledge Jerusalem is the rightful capital of Israel, and Israel’s right to self-determination, but now he has called out members on the decision they now have to make.

The resolution comes as the aforementioned Reps. Tlaib and Omar spoke on the House floor condemning Israel's retaliatory airstrikes against Hamas militant positions and have called out their 33o colleagues in the House that recently signed a letter in support of Israel.

What we are telling Palestinians fighting apartheid is the same thing being told to my black neighbors and Americans throughout that are fighting against police brutality here there is no form of acceptable resistance to state violence.”
