t’s Friday and the 2021 legislative session is almost done with only a week to go. COVID really changed up the dynamic of the legislative process, but we all managed to figure things out.
Just in case you are wondering, the Gumbo soup at Harry’s is still the best gumbo on the planet.
Unlike the case in the U.S. Congress, nothing too dramatic is happening in Tallahassee outside of the HB 1 bill and a few other somewhat controversial measures (sarcasm).
Back to the disaster better known as the Democratic-controlled Congress.
From pushing the Green New Deal, gun-control, raising taxes, passing pork-barrel-laden stimulus funding, to wanting to pack the Supreme Court, congressional Democrats appear desperate to push their entire agenda before they lose the majority in the House next year.
Yeah, they are going to lose a ton of seats.

The Palm Beach mansion of now-dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has been raised. Sure, we are all happy he is dead, but this coward got off (no pun intended) easy.
