We all knew that wasteful spending in Speaker Nancy Pelosi's COVID stimulus bill existing, no thanks to the mainstream media who has refused to highlight the egregious non-COVID-related pork projects Democrats have saddled the measure with.
Democrats have insisted that President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans have been working against them in passing COVID relief legislation. Republicans have asked for COVID-only spending measures so that Americans can begin to dig themselves out of the financial hole they have found themselves in as a result of the pandemic, but their requests have fallen on the deaf ears of Pelosi's puppets in the House of Representatives.
Now, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) has taken it upon himself to literally highlight the worst expenditure in the bill —$750,000,000 to foreigners. IN OTHER COUNTRIES!
You read right.
"$750,000,000 to remain available until expended, for activities to be conducted acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to combat SARS —CoV–2, COVID—19, and other emerging infectious disease threats globally."
You can't make this up.
So, about a billion dollars is allotted for disease prevention for other countries, not the U.S.
Heck, considering that the Democrats are all for an Amigo First agenda, maybe they should spend the nearly billion dollars along the southern border states, including the Peoples Republic of California?
