President Donald Trump has instructed his administration officials to “stop negotiating” with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her delegation on the latest COVID-19 “stimulus” measure because of their efforts to “bailout poorly run” blue states.

After Speaker Pelosi issued a statement rebuking the president’s move to end negotiations, saying he was “putting himself first at the expense of the country,” Trump called out the speaker and telling her that if she sent him a “Stand Alone bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200),” he would sign off on the legislative measure.

"If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now. Are you listening Nancy,”  stated Trump. I am ready to sign right now. Are you listening Nancy?

Here is what Trump tweeted:

“Nancy Pelosi is asking for $2.4 Trillion Dollars to bailout poorly run, high crime, Democrat States, money that is in no way related to COVID-19. We made a very generous offer of $1.6 Trillion Dollars and, as usual, she is not negotiating in good faith. I am rejecting their request, and looking to the future of our Country. House Democrats quickly followed  Speaker Pelosi’s lead and pushed her narrative that Trump is “turning his back” on Americans for cutting off COVID-19 stimulus negotiations.

“Donald Trump wants to be president of “red states” but he’s turning his back on the United States. The president shouldn’t stop working toward a new relief deal while so many Americans are struggling,” tweeted Rep. Ted Deutch.

Rep. Lois Frankel called the move as “an act of desperation” because the president wanted the Republican-lead Senate to “focus full-time” on confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court.

“This is unacceptable. American families, workers and businesses desperately need help and they are urging us to forge a principled compromise,” stated Rep. Stephanie Murphy. This is not the time to walk away from the negotiating table.”

Speaker Pelosi has yet to respond to the "Stand Alone Bill" challenge Trump posed to her.
