During a 2019 rally, presumably in Florida, that was filmed by the Progressive news outlet Young Turks, congressional candidate Pam Keith gave a rabble-rousing address where she expressed that as a candidate she would only listen to people who either vote for her, or give her money.

“As a candidate, I can tell you, we listen to two kinds of people. The people who give us money and the people who give us votes. You don’t give me your vote or your money, I don’t gotta listen to you.”- Pam Keith

Keith’s “show me the money” mentality will not play well with everyday American voters and is a stark contradiction to what fellow Progressive Reps. Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have said about representing Americans.

Keith's opponent, Rep. Brian Mast (R) told The Floridian that he sees his constituents as “Americans first” and would help them in any way possible, regardless of their political affiliation, or if they voted for him.

Mast also said that Keith sees his constituents "as a commodity."

“I don’t care if you are a Republican or Democrat, have a donkey or an elephant on your shirt, or if that shirt is red or blue,” said Mast. If you come into my office, we will help you in any way possible, and regardless if you have voted for me or donated to my campaign, I will do every single thing within my purview to help you. I see you as an American first, as a constituent first, She clearly sees you as a commodity first.

The Young Turks video was posted on July 27, 2019, a full. 8-months before Keith formally filed to run for congress in Florida’s 18th congressional district against Rep. Mast.

Keith, a corporate attorney with the Washington, DC-based Temple Law Offices  has also recently implied that President Trump would be killed by Americans or Russians, and impugned police, at least “only the good ones.”
