It's been a week since the news broke that emails existed on Hunter Biden's laptop that shows that his father Vice President Joe Biden did have knowledge about his son's foreign business dealings, and congressional Democrats and most media outlets refuse to address the emails in question.
Florida Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D) has congratulated social media giant Twitter for removing the tweet from one of President Trump’s coronavirus advisors after he posted that masks did not work against the deadly virus.
“Great work here Twitter now let’s keep this going,” tweeted Rep. Mucarsel-Powell. There’s too much spread of misinformation including POTUS tweets. Americans deserve truth.”
Mucarsel-Powell’s words about Americans deserving the truth appear a bit hypocritical considering that Twitter locked down the account of the New York Post if they do not remove the posts about Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings, business dealings that Biden said he knew nothing about.
Since the NY Post story first broke, Mucarsel-Powell has yet to comment on the “smoking gun” emails that clearly show that Hunter Biden profited off of his name and father’s position as Vice President of the United States.
Americans do deserve the truth, so when Joe Biden was asked to respond to the story, Biden snapped at the CBS reporter Bo Erickson, calling it another “smear campaign.”
Q: “Mr. Biden, what is your response to the New York Post story about your son, sir?”
Biden: “I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.”
Unlike Mucarsel-Powell and other congressional Democrats, fellow Floridian Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) did not shy away from critiquing the Bidens, calling the Bidens liars.
“Democrats and the media told us over and over again the Bidens were being falsely accused of improper behavior with Burisma and Ukraine,” tweeted Rep. Gaetz. They were wrong. There WAS corruption. President @realDonaldTrump was right to ask about it. The Bidens were lying."
Gaetz also tweeted that Biden also denied speaking to his son Hunter about his foreign dealings with Ukrainian business Burisma Holdings.
“Joe Biden has repeatedly denied any conflict of interest or wrongdoing by either of them involving Burisma,” stated Gaetz.
President Trump has already called on Biden to immediately release any and all communications of his involvement between his family’s international business dealings.
“Joe Biden must immediately release all emails, meetings, phone calls, transcripts, and records related to his involvement in his family’s business dealings and influence peddling around the world—including in CHINA,” demanded President Trump
