Republican Congressional candidate Reba Sherrill appears to be very upset over two recent stories we posted about her that she believes cast her in an unsavory and dark light.
Sherrill expressed her distaste with our stories by commenting on a Facebook post on the page of Benjamin Lagerstrom, aka Benjamin Irish.
Lagerstrom, who appears to have been charged, arrested, and tried for third-degree assault, forcible touching, third-degree sexual assault, and second-degree verbal harassment in New York State, has endorsed Sherrill and also appears to be advising her congressional campaign.
Lagerstrom recently posted pictures he appears to have taken inside the building where Laura Loomer currently lives. Lagerstrom posted pics of an apartment where he alleges Loomer lives, saying that Loomer lives in “a basement in a tenement with no security.”
According to a source within the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office, deputies arrived at Loomer’s building over the weekend where they apparently took a police report about the potential stalking that Lagerstrom may have taken part in.
The First Story
The first story was about Sherrill making bigoted statements along with disgraced activist Annie Marie Delgado against congressional candidate Laura Loomer.
The story questioned Sherrill’s bigoted remarks, where we posted actual screengrabs of her Facebook rantings that refer to Loomer as a man and not a woman.
We posted part of the transcript of a 23-minute phone interview where she divulged she forgot where she went to medical school. The Palm Beach Post reposted our interview with Sherrill.
The Second Story
The second posting was regarding Sherrill’s false assertion that she was a medical doctor and stopped practicing medicine. According to public records, Sherrill was never a doctor, rather a registered nurse in Tennessee.
Q: I’m sorry which college did you go to?
Sherrill: I don’t know, they changed the name I don’t even know what it’s called anymore.
On July 17, Sherrill posted a Facebook statement alleging that The Floridian was trying to smear her and that we called her “three nights in a row between 10 pm and 11 pm.”
This is false.
Sherrill also falsely stated that we started talking to her and that she didn’t know who she was talking to.
Sherrill, who says she has phone records to prove her claims, forgets that she agreed to come on the record about the campaign.
According to the conversation, Sherrill, who also appears to be supported by another Trump campaign wannabee, Ann Vandesteel, asked who we were, prompting us to clearly state our name and organization.
Sherrill also forgets about the text conversation she had initiated at 9:41 pm, not after 10 pm. Oh, we have phone records too.
At 10:56 pm Reba responded to our 9:41 pm text to her and asked us if we still wanted to talk to her in 20 minutes. We agreed that jumping on a call should take place the following day.
Needless to say, the day (next day) got away from us and we remembered to call Sherrill late that night. The call was placed at 9:52 pm and lasted for 23 minutes.
So, we did not call Sherrill three nights in a row, and she fully consented to the time and topics of the conversation. Sherrill lied, yet again.
But wait, what is Sherrill’s definition of harassment? Is it her texting us asking if we still wanted to talk to her at nearly 11:00p.m.? Is it her taking a phone call from our publication, spending 23-minutes providing an interview where we allowed her to say whatever she wanted a form of harassment?
