As the United States continues to persevere through the current COVID-19 pandemic, Democrats are now gearing up for a fight as they have announced that they will make a push for another impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Today, House Democrats notified the Supreme Court that they are currently in the midst of an “ongoing presidential impeachment investigation” that’s part of their “weighty constitutional responsibility.” Moreover, Democrats argued that, as part of the impeachment, grand-jury material from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s past Russia probe is to be turned over as well.

The nine Supreme Court Justices were told that “The [House Judiciary] Committee’s investigation did not cease with the conclusion of the impeachment trial.” In addition, “if this material reveals new evidence supporting the conclusion that President Trump committed impeachable offenses that are not covered by the articles adopted by the House, the committee will proceed accordingly – including, if necessary, by considering whether to recommend new articles of impeachment.”

However, the most important information they are after is “the possible exercise of improper political influence over recent decisions made in the Roger Stone and Michael Flynn prosecutions, both of which were initiated by the special counsel.”
