Wasserman Schultz calls Trump official a "misogynist" and a 'racist'

It can certainly be said that Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) likes to speak her mind and doesn’t mince her words, especially when it comes to calling out President Donald Trump, or someone from his administration.

During a House Oversight Committee meeting  where members of Congress interviewed U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Ken Cuccinelli, Rep. Wasserman Schultz took a shot at Cuccinelli, accusing him of pushing Trump’s “white supremacist ideology.”

“You have demonstrated that you will pursue this heinous white supremacist ideology at all costs, even if it means making critically ill children your collateral damage in the process,” said Wasserman Schultz

Shortly after addressing Congress, Cuccinelli, who may have still been in the Halloween spirit,  went on Fox News to return the favor to Wasserman Schultz, calling her a witch that just came into the committee hearing to cast dispersions against him and the president.

“She is protected to lie,” said Cuccinelli “She came in, laid on her smears… And then got on her broom and left. It was a fly-by for her.”

Wasserman Schultz then responded by calling Cuccinelli a misogynist that was attempting to “silence outspoken women who speak truth to power.”

“I called out Ken Cuccinelli for promoting white supremacist immigration policies attacking people of color: family separation, deporting sick children, Muslim ban, public charge,” said Wasserman Schultz “But he also wants to silence outspoken women who speak truth to power. I call out misogynists too.”
