President Donald Trump suggested that the U.S. assist Mexico in waging "WAR" against drug cartels and "white them off the face of the earth" after gunmen shot and killed 9 Americans in the state of Sonora.

It is believed that those rival drug cartels mistakenly shot at a caravan of 3 SUV's killing the nine and wounded others, all members of the same family traveling back to the U.S. to attend a wedding.

Several of the dead were found in separate locations, and others are said to have been kidnapped after the initial ambush, so the argument that this was a case of mistaken identity can easily be dismissed.
