A day after announcing that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a U.S. special operations raid in Northern Syria, President Donald Trump has announced that al-Baghdadi's second in command was also "terminated by American troops" over the weekend.
Trump made the announcement via Twitter.
Al-Baghdadi is said to have ran from advancing troops and detonated a suicide bomb, killing himself and three children.
“Our reach is very long,” Trump said. He pointed to the recent death of Hamza bin Laden, son of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. “These savage monsters will not escape their fate, and they will not escape the final judgment of God.”
Trump said “Baghdadi and the losers who work for him” had “no idea what they were getting into.”
Just confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s number one replacement has been terminated by American troops. Most likely would have taken the top spot - Now he is also Dead!
