Trump accused Democrats of trying to "camouflage" their political agenda

“Now that there’s an impeachment inquiry, what’s going to happen to guns, the border and prescription drugs?”

That was a questioned posed by the Washington Post and a question that is on the minds of millions of Americans considering that House Democrats are going all out with an impeachment inquiry of President Trump.

In response to the WaPo article, Florida Rep. Ted Deutch (D) tweeted that “House Democrats passed bills to revamp ethics laws, protect elections, save lives from guns, reduce Rx prices & secure our border w/o foolish & wasteful wall,” adding that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell “delights in letting it all die in the Senate.”

“We are ready & willing to negotiate to make these law—we will also fulfill our constitutional duty to hold President Trump accountable,” added Deutch.

But how will Democrats and Republicans play nice in the political sandbox when Democrats are pressing hard to oust Trump while at the same time saying that they want to work with him on issues like gun violence?

Rep. Deutch has been pushing impeachment since the very beginning of the now-debunked Russian collusion conspiracy, and at the same time asking Trump to do something about gun violence.

Deutch has been the face of gun violence control after the Parkland school shooting that occurred in his congressional district in 2018.

To most folks, Deutch’s actions and Speaker Pelosi’s recent call for House Democrats to work with Trump seems disingenuous on its face, and Trump agrees, calling the move “camouflage” to try to win the 2020 presidential election.

“Nancy Pelosi just said that she is interested in lowering prescription drug prices & working on the desperately needed USMCA,” tweeted Trump “She is incapable of working on either. It is just camouflage for trying to win an election through impeachment. The Do Nothing Democrats are stuck in mud!

Believe it or not, Trump had more to say about the House Democrat’s “camouflage” play.

“The Do Nothing Democrats should be focused on building up our Country, not wasting everyone’s time and energy on BULLSHIT, which is what they have been doing ever since I got overwhelmingly elected in 2016, 223-306. Get a better candidate this time, you’ll need it!,” added Trump.

Republican skepticism is warranted because according to Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R), Pelosi has blocked Trump-supported legislation in the past.

Several months back, The Floridian sat down with Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R) in his Washington, D.C. office, and senior congressman from Miami said that four amendments he sponsored, amendments that he felt would have ended the most recent gov’t shut down by getting bipartisan support and the president’s signature, were “shutdown” by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party leadership in the House.

A suggestion for a compromise between House Democrats and President Trump, one that would be dead on arrival because it would not fit their political narrative, is that Pelosi and company being an investigation into the Bidens over their questionable dealings in China and Ukraine.

Republicans contend that vice president Joe Biden helped pressure Ukraine into firing a prosecutor that was investigating a company son Hunter worked for.

Biden even boasted about he did call for the prosecutor's dismissal.

Fat chance that is going to happen.
