Speaking to Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures” host Mario Bartiromo Sunday morning, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, vowed to expose two unnamed whistleblowers against President Donald Trump, if Democrats continue pressing impeachment of the president.
"Here’s what’s going to happen: if the whistleblowers' allegations are turned into an impeachment article it’s imperative that the whistleblower be interviewed in public, under oath, and cross-examined,” said Graham, adding, "if that doesn't happen in the House, I'll make sure it happens in the Senate."
"There can be no valid impeachment process unless the president can confront the witnesses against him,” stated Graham.
But while Graham defended the president, he also went on offense, saying that just as Trump was being investigated, so should Joe and Hunter Biden be probed to see if they broke any laws.
"Somebody needs to look at the Bidens, whether or not they violated the law," he said. "They sure as hell looked at the Trumps. Somebody needs to look at the Bidens."
Democrats contend that Trump withheld military aid in order to pressure Ukraine to look into Hunter Biden’s dealings with Burisma Holdings and vice president Biden’s call to fire a Ukrainian prosecutor assigned to investigate Burisma.
Biden and Democrats were quick to dismiss Trump’s claim that it was Biden who used money to pressure the Ukrainians.
A recently released Trump 2020 attack ad highlights a video of Vice President Joe Biden recalling the threat he made against the Ukrainians if they did not fire the prosecutor in question.
‘If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,” said Biden “Well son of a b*tch, he got fired.”
