Biden hypocritically used the term "lynching" in CNN interview

Share

President Donald Trump’s use of the term “lynching” has caused a firestorm of condemnation from Democrats and has also managed to take a couple of those politicians down to the mat for their hypocrisy in condemning the president’s use of the word.

“So someday, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights,” said President Trump “All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here – a lynching. But we will WIN”

We first reported that Sen. Kamala Harris once used very same “reprehensible” and ”disgraceful” when she defended actor Jussie Smollett after his alleged assault in Chicago. Smollet made the whole alteration up.

Shortly after Trump tweeted the lynching remark, Vice President Joe Biden called out the president, calling it “despicable” that conjures up memories of “a dark, shameful history.”

No sooner then Biden denounced Trump’s use of the word, social media lit up with a 1998 video interview between then-Sen. Biden and CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, where the senior Senator said,” "Even if the president should be impeached, history will question whether or not this was a partisan lynching or whether or not it was something that in fact met the standard.”

Biden then defended his past statement, saying that while Trump "deliberately" used the word "lynching," he didn't "deliberately" use the word during his interview with Blitzer.
