Charlie Crist endorses Joe Biden for president


One of America’s most charismatic Democratic politicians has endorsed another well-known and likable Democratic politicians in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary cycle.

Rep. Charlie Crist (D) tweeted that he was “proud to endorse Joe Biden for President” because of the former vice president’s “record of getting things done,” and because he has “always put the American people above party lines.”

Crist is the first of Florida’s high- profile Democratic members of Congress to endorse the former vice president. Rep. Al Lawson (D) has already expressed his support for Biden.

Earlier this year, an aide for Rep. Darren Soto (D) told the Floridian that the congressman from Orlando “is not endorsing any candidate at this point.”
