Texas lends Florida, Gov DeSantis a helping hand

According to the latest projected forecast paths, Hurricane Dorian may not hit Florida, but in the event that it does, help is already on the way from Texas Governor Greg Abbot (R), who has already deployed its Texas Task Force 1’s Type III at the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

 "Texas offers its full support to the state of Florida, and we remain at the ready to offer additional assistance as needed," said Governor Abbott. "I am grateful to our first responders who have stepped up to assist Floridians in their time of need, and I ask that all Texans pray for all those in the path of this storm." 

In addition, the 50 “highly trained water rescue professional,” Abbott says that he is ready to assist with an additional 6 flood swift water rescue and evacuation boat squads

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has already called a state of emergency, and President Trump has also pledged the government’s “full support.”
