Unlike Senator Marco Rubio (R), who hosts a weekly Bible study and tweets scripture, Sen. Rick Scott (R) tends to express his faith in a more reserved way.

That wasn’t the case in Israel, where Scott is meeting with Israeli officials and visiting holy sites.

Sen. Scott did what most visitors do while in the holy city of Jerusalem.

Scott, like President Donald Trump, visited the Western Wall and traditionally inserted a written prayer in between the stones.

What was Scott’s prayer about?

Per his Senate office, Scott prayed for “an end to Nicolas Maduro’s evil regime and genocide in Venezuela”
