In the upcoming 2020 Presidential election, all eyes will be on Florida as the swing state decides whether or not it will remain red after the dust has settled on the election results.

In an effort to keep Florida red, Mike Giallombardo (R) is looking to keep the Republican hold on Florida’s 77th congressional district seat.

Rep. Dane Eagle (R), who currently sits on that seat, has just announced that he wholeheartedly endorses Giallombardo to take over for him once he leaves office due to term limits.

In a statement, Eagle explained that “term limits are a wonderful thing, and while I begin to plan my exit from serving you in the Florida House of Representatives, I can’t think of a better replacement than Mike Giallombardo.”

Eagle added that “Mike’s conservative principles, life experience, and business background make him the right choice to represent Cape Coral.”

And, Eagle asserted that he is “honored to endorse him and his campaign for the Florida House, and I look forward to being his constituent when I reach my term limits next year.”

In response to Eagle’s endorsement, Giallombardo praised Eagle, noting that “Dane has done a phenomenal job representing our community.”

Furthermore, “his fight to restore our water quality, cut taxes, grow the economy, and protect individual liberties will have long-lasting positive effects on our state for generations.”

So, “knowing that I have his trust and support is a great honor.”

Giallombardo is a decorated combat veteran who was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He currently serves as a Warrant Officer in the Florida National Guard where he also works as a State Emergency Response Team liaison. In addition, he is also an entrepreneur, owning and operating businesses that specialize in technology development, cybersecurity, commercialization of new technology and education.
