This week, President Trump was involved in a verbal spar with Democrats, which saw him defending House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) from other members of the Democratic Party.

Now, the Democratic party has unified to respond to Trump after he released a series of tweets attacking Representatives Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D), Ilhan Omar (D), Rashida Tlaib (D) and Ayanna Pressley (D), telling them to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”

In response, AOC directed a tweet back at the President, telling him that the country she came from and “the country we all swear to, is the United States.”

She added that “given how you’ve destroyed our border with inhumane camps, all at a benefit to you & the corps who profit off them, you are absolutely right about the corruption laid at your feet.”

The back and forth has sent shock waves throughout the country, and Florida Rep. Anna Eskamani (D) also shared her thoughts on the President's words, telling Trump that “one of the reasons I care so deeply about America is because of my Iranian-American identity; it motivates me to fight for equality here & support it abroad – and it’s the story of women like me in Iran and around the world that inspire me to never stop fighting.”

She concluded that “we are a nation of immigrants, and we’re here to stay.”

Speaker Pelosi who’s faced opposition from AOC, also responded to Trump, saying that when the President “tells four American congresswomen to go back to their countries, he reaffirms his plan to ‘Make America Great Again’ has always been about making America white Again.”

President Trump has responded to the opposition, sharing that it’s “so sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion.”

The President added that “whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST.’”

Representatives Omar (D) and Tlaib (D) have faced criticism over past comments perceived to be anti-Semitic.

Rep. Omar even received an endorsement from former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke, who dubbed her "the most important member of the US Congress!"
