Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) continues to find it hard to believe that congressional Democrats continue to refuse to secure the U.S. border to Mexico, even after the majority of Americans oppose illegal immigration.

During a recent appearance with Stuart Varney on Fox Business, Sen. Scott stated that “Democrats need to show up and start doing their job,” adding that his colleagues across the political aisle have not neither helped fund border security, nor have they moved to change the broken asylum laws.

“I don’t get it, said Scott “The Democrats in our country, they do not want to have a secure border, it’s as simple as that… Americans want legal immigration, not illegal immigration”

When asked about the dire situation in Venezuela, Scott didn’t hesitate to dress down Democrats, questioning why Democrats even run for office when all they do is “sit on the sidelines and do nothing.”

He may not speak Español as fluidly as Sen. Marco Rubio, but Scott he does make his bilingual vote on social media platforms, asserting that Venezuela’s Dictator Nicholas Maduro “is murdering his citizens.”

Scott also warned that if Cuba, Russia, Iran, China, & Hezbollah, continue to be allowed to into Venezuela, then that county “will become a Syria in our hemisphere.”
