Florida Senator Marco Rubio  has announced that he will be filing a constitutional amendment in the senate to keep Democrats from pursuing a “court-packing scheme” in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Democrats are pushing the idea of increasing the amount of jurists that currently sit on the Supreme Court to fifteen.

Democratic Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke wants to see five Republican and five Democratic jurists being seated on the bench, with another five being confirmed by those 10 Republican and Democratic jurists.

Rubio contends that Democrats have always manipulated the courts because they have failed to meet their objectives “through Congress or the Presidency,” adding that because President Trump has been appointing “constitutionalists to courts,” the likes of Progressive Senators like O’Rourke, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are poised to “dilute” the impact the Trump jurists will have by “packing #SCOTUS.”

Trump has also weighed in on the issue, stating,” we would have no interest in that whatsoever. It will never happen.”
