Florida Congressman Ted Deutch (D), who serves as Chair the House Ethics Committee, reaffirmed the assumption that with control of the U.S. House of Representatives, Democrats will push for a full investigation and probable impeachment of President Trump.
Deutch stated that his colleague, House Judiciary Chair Rep. Jerry Nadler (D) has announced an investigation of the president for possibly committing obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of his "presidential authority."
Nadler told ABC News,"tomorrow we will be issuing document requests to over 60 different people and individuals from the White House, to the Dept. of Justice, Donald Trump Jr. ... to begin investigations"
Deutch also added that congress had to exercise its oversight duties over the executive branch, saying "we will fulfill that duty."
