Trump is bringing back the U.S. Space Command

"The Force" could be strong in the current sitting President of the United States, as Donald Trump is expected to take the firsts steps in creating his "space force."

President Trump, who has stated that he wanted to create a “Space Force,” is said to be poised to sign an executive order to bring back the U.S. Space Command, the one-time military command that was scrapped after the 9/11 attacks.

According to the Associated Press (AP), Vice President Mike Pence will formally make the announcement this week at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Trump could “sign the order” this Tuesday.

"Pence will be at the Pentagon on Tuesday and will meet with the Joint Chiefs. Space Command is expected to be among the issues discussed. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly.”-AP
