Considering that President Donald Trump is one of the most admired, and hated, presidents in history, we found it fitting (funny) to write a daily post about any controversial or sharp-tongued remark the president makes, and what his detractors think of him and his actions.
With the frequency Trump goes after the "FAKE NEWS" and the scores of detractors he has, there is too much content to put out, so we will keep these post to a just a few entrees. We'll call it "The Daily Donald."
The Daily Donald
Shortly before flying down to Palm Beach, President Trump spoke to reporters at the White House.
Q Mr. President, why are you siding with the Saudis over your own intelligence community?
TRUMP: Because it's "America First" for me. It's all about "America First." We're not going to give up hundreds of billions of dollars in orders, and let Russia, China, and everybody else have them. It's all about, for me -- very simple -- it's "America First."
Saudi Arabia -- if we broke with them, I think your oil prices would go through the roof. I've kept them down. They've helped me keep them down. Right now we have low oil prices, or relatively. I'd like to see it go down even lower -- lower.
But I think that it's a very simple equation for me. I'm about "Make America Great Again," and I'm about "America First."
THE OPPOSITION
Florida Congressman Ted Deutch (D) never minces his words or thoughts when he tangles with the president. He's not happy with how Trump is dealing with Saudi Arabia.
Gas prices going up?
Not giving Saudi arms deals to Russia and China?
Doubting the intel community AGAIN?Not a word about American values. Or human rights. Or outrage over murdered & dismembered journalist.
Appalling lack of American leadership by the President.
