Broward Supv of Elections goes dark, no public updates

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes has not said much since the Broward County Commission Canvassing Board convened to oversee the recount efforts in this year's mid-term elections.

Snipes has answered very few questions from reporters, leaving her attorney's and aides to take the lead on addressing any questions or concerns.

This past Saturday Attorney Pettis and aide Dotie Joseph address the newly found Provisional ballot box The Floridian first reported on, but aside from that press conference, the elections office has been pretty quit.

When asked if she felt mistakes were made, Snipes stated that she wished "issues" would have been addressed better address.

Since November 6, the official Broward SOE Facebook page has gone quiet, and the Twitter account has yet to launch.

The Twitter account exits, but has not tweeting anything.

Snipes' office is not putting out any recount updates, rather leaving it to the press to report on the recount efforts.

Jeb Bush, who appointed her in the first place, has joined the chorus of politicos that have called for Snipes' removal.
