It was all fun and games at the second and final gubernatorial debate between Republican Ron DeSantis and Democrat Andrew Gillum.

Both men went at each other pretty hard, DeSantis calling Gillum a liar for saying he didn't receive tickets to a Broadway play from an undercover FBI agent, while Gillum continued to try to frame DeSantis as a racist.

DeSantis said that Gillum was "dealing with the FBI as a person of interest," adding, "he lied."

The statement or accusation of the night went to Gillum, who push the race envelope as far as he could.

"I'm not calling Mr. DeSantis a racist. I'm saying the racists believe he's a racist."-Andrew Gillum

"When I worked with the FBI, I was doing it as a prosecutor to bring people to justice. When Andrew is dealing with the FBI, he's dealing with an undercover agent as a person of interest in an investigation:"-Ron DeSantis

DeSantis' lead surrogate at the debate was U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R). Gaetz was asked about Gillum's remark. Read about Gaetz's video sparring with Democrat Levine here.

Gaetz said that he expects nothing more from Gillum in the final days before the 2018 mid term election.

Andrew Gillum is playing the race card because he’s been proven to be a liar. I expect from now until the end of this campaign, Andrew Gillum will have to play the race card because the people of this state can’t trust him.

It’s not about Hamilton tickets, its about a guy who stood up and lied, and he lied indignantly.-U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R)
