Congressional Democrats like Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz are out pushing the narrative that the Republican Party is somehow against women for supporting President Trump, Roy Moore, and now Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Christine Blasey Ford, a high school classmate of Kavanaugh’s, alleges that he forced himself on her at a party, but that nothing sexual transpired.
According to Ford, Kavanaugh tried to forcefully undress her while he held her down. Ford also says that Kavanaugh held his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.
Now two women, who say they known Kavanaugh since high school, are out defending the judge’s character, saying that the allegations appear unfounded, calling him “respectful, kind and thoughtful.”
Senate Democrats have been trying to stall an up or down on Kavanaugh, and participating in orchestrated senate hearing stunts, hope that this allegation will stifle the process, but Republicans look to push the nomination forward.
Kavanaugh’s nomination is expected to be voted on this week.
