A dog is man’s best friend, right?

Well, some jaded individuals believe that dog is man’s best meal, not his friend.

Apparently, 44 states do not prohibit the killing of dogs and cats for human consumption, allowing individuals to kill and eat a dog or cat, even sell their meet to another like-minded person.

Thankfully, Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) has penned a bill that would outlaw the eating of Fido, Marmaduke, Sylvester the Cat, and any other fury dog or cat.

The bill will make it to the House floor for a vote where it is expected to pass.
