Frankel, Wasserman Schultz express support for Ford over Kavanaugh

With Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS confirmation on hold until the FBI concludes a probe into the sexual allegations made against him, many Democratic and Republican lawmakers in Washington have already made up their minds on who they believe.

Two notable Democratic congresswomen from South Florida, Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Lois Frankel, have expectedly sided with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford over Kavanaugh.

The FBI investigation, which was ordered by President Trump, is expected by many to turn out inconclusive results.

Republicans have asked that the investigation last no more than one week, but Democrats are already signaling that could call for the investigation to go on longer.
