The most recent Reuters polls showed Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum leading Republican Ron DeSantis by 6-points.
At the same time, Florida Atlantic University released a poll showing DeSantis trailing Gillum by only 2-points, well within the margin of error.
Which poll(s) are Americans suppose to believe?
Gillum maintains a +3.4 average lead according to Realclearpolitics.com, but in the end, the poll that matters is the final vote count on election night.
Regardless of the polling, DeSantis could hold the advantage with Florida and the rest of the nation enjoying an economic boom that has been brought on by measures the Trump Administration has put in place.
If DeSantis and Republicans focus on economics, they should be OK on election night. If they allow Gillum and Democrats to take them off message, it could be a long night for the GOP.
