For years, Rep. Ted Deutch (D) has been re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives without ruffling too many feathers, that was until Donald Trump won the presidency in 2018.

Rep. Deutch is considered to be a “liberal Democrat” who has championed just about every issue the “liberal” faction of the Democratic Party has offered up.

Now, with the 2018 election and rise of the new “Progressive” and Socialist-lite ‘Squad” in the House of Representatives, Deutch looks and sounds more “moderate.”

Since President Trump took office, Deutch has come out of his shell and has led the charge to impeach the 45th President of the United States. Deutch didn’t just vote for impeachment, he championed the cause in the House Judiciary Committee, which offered up the two articles of impeachment for a vote.

The impeachment of President Trump made Deutch a household name and showed a much tougher side of the father of three.

Now that Trump has beaten congressional Democrats on impeachment, Deutch has pivoted to sounding the alarm and doing what he can to bring awareness to the Coronavirus pandemic that has already claimed 9,000+ lives in the United States alone.

Outside of his daily COVID-19 CDC updates and executive updates from both the state and federal governments on his Twitter and Facebook pages, Deutch is also putting out selfie videos to update his constituents.

Broward County, where the overwhelming majority of Deutch’s constituents live, is ground zero for the pandemic with well over 1,200 confirmed cases.

Just yesterday, the two Holland America cruise ships carrying dozens of Coronavirus patients docked at Port Everglades.

Ten of those patients were transported to Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, which just so happens to be in Deutch’s congressional district.

Nowadays, Deutch may not be able to grow too much hair on his head, but what hair he lacks on his dome he makes upon his face, as the dog-loving vegan is growing out his beard and mustache.

Could Ted soon be trying out for a new season of Duck Dynasty? Or will he make a cameo appearance as Santa Claus at a mall near you this coming Christmas season?

Much like Senator Ted Cruz (R), who conjures up images of the X-Men character Wolverine, Deutch’s facial hair does works for him, it just makes him look a lot more like Santa.

HO! HO! HO! and Mazel Tov!

Wait, what's up with the Texas Longhorns hat? Isn't Deutch a Michigan Wolverine?
