Usually when a politician announces a run for office he or she asks an old football coach, an elected official, or someone use to public speaking, to do the honors of introducing them at their respective campaign kick-off event.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R), who is running for governor of Florida, pulled out his ‘Ace in the hole’ to introduce him to a crowd of 300+ at his Boca Raton, Florida campaign announcement rally.

Casey DeSantis, who is currently 7 months pregnant, put her former TV news anchor skills to use in introducing her husband, saying that her significant other was a “man of integrity, of honor, conviction, morals, principle, and values.”
