Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Jolly shared that he has received an endorsement from the Palm Beach Post Editorial Board in his bid for Florida governor.
The Post's endorsement is the third paper to back Jolly this month, joining the Miami Herald and the Tampa Bay Times.
"The next governor must work collaboratively to address problems rather than speak power. For that reason, the Post urges voters to elect Democrat David Jolly. Jolly offers the best hope to give statement government a new start... Voters would be better off opting for change," the Post wrote.
Jolly thanked the Post for its endorsement. The Post is the 7th largest paper in Florida with a daily circulation of around 23,500.

Jolly is hoping to be the first elected Democratic governor of Florida since 1994. He is also looking to become the first gubernatorial candidate to win Palm Beach County since Andrew Gillum.
Gillum won Palm Beach County by 17 points over Republican challenger Ron DeSantis in 2018. DeSantis, however, would go on to win the race by about 0.5%, or just under 33,000 votes.
Palm Beach flipped Republican four years later, siding with Gov. DeSantis by three points over Democrat Charlie Crist. DeSantis would cruise to re-election by 19 points, the largest margin of victory in a Florida gubernatorial election since 1982.Â
Notably, only four of Florida's 67 counties voted for Crist in 2022. In 2018, 13 counties voted for Gillum.
Palm Beach County is the third largest county in the state, and, in both cases, gave Crist and Gillum their third largest voting share.
Jolly is competing against Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) for the top post. Donalds, who is endorsed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Donald Trump, is looking to become Florida's 5th straight governor since 1999.
The general election is Nov. 5.
