A Cook Political Report analysis released Friday shows Republicans losing the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives following the November midterms.

"Today, The Cook Political Report is moving 15 House races, all in Democrats' direction, as the worsening political environment for Republicans has made the GOP's chances of keeping control of the chamber almost impossible," a press release from the organization said.

Three Florida districts were included in that 15, with FL-22 moved from lean Republican to toss up and FL-27 and FL-13 moved from likely Republican to lean Republican.

The Democratic candidate for FL-22 celebrated the move in an X post.

Dandiya is running on Democratic Party talking points, but she faces a very formidable opponent, businessman Casey Askar, who has been running against the corruption in Congress and has offered up tax-cutting solutions.

Both candidates say they support tax cuts to middle-class Americans, but Dandiya recently said that she was against the middle-class tax cutting and the child tax credit legislative measure the recently passed in the House of Representatives.

The Democrats currently hold 214 seats in the House, compared to the Republicans' 218 seats. That could change this November, though, according to the new analysis, which shows the Democrats taking hold of anywhere between 220 and 230 seats.

That is still a fairly slim majority, but it will flip the chamber, if true. However, the race is still five weeks away, giving both parties the time to lose or gain seats, especially in toss-up races.

The Republicans still beat the Democrats out by a significant margin in the solid category for Florida districts. The same is not true on the national level, with the Democrats having a strong hold over 185 seats compared to 176 on the Republican side.
