Florida’s Gay or LGBTQ community has decided to endorse Vice President Joe Biden in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary race. The Biden campaign released the show of support citing that a recent survey shows that 84% of gay organization’s membership supports Biden over Senator Bernie Sanders.
Rep. Donna Shalala (D), along with Reps. Kathy Castor, Charlie Crist, Val Demmings, Ted Deutch, Lois Frankel, Alcee Hastings, Al Lawson, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Darren Soto, and Frederica Wilson, have all lent their support for the former vice president.
It appears as if Biden could be on the verge of steamrolling Sanders.
