U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL) shared she has been endorsed by the Florida Professional Firefighters (FPF) in her campaign for a full term in the U.S. Senate through a post on social media.

"The men and women who risk their lives to protect others are real heroes in our communities and they deserve a Senator who fights just as hard for them. I am honored to have support of @FPF343 and be their voice in Washington," Moody wrote.

The FPF, formed in 1944, is a state labor association representing over 31,000 firefighters and emergency medical service personal. It includes 150 affiliates working in over 200 departments across the state.

The association also endorsed Sen. Moody during her re-election for Florida Attorney General in 2022. Moody was appointed to the U.S. Senate by Gov. Ron DeSantis in January 2025.

Sen. Moody is likely the favorite to win the U.S. Senate Republican primary on Aug. 18. Former National Security Council aide Alexander Vindman and Rep. Angie Nixon (D-Jacksonville) are running on the Democratic ticket.

The general election is Nov. 3.

In addition to the FPF, Moody has been endorsed by President Donald Trump, who endorsed her in a Truth Social post last year.

"Ashley is working tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Help Secure our already Secure Southern Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Murders, and other Criminals from illegally entering our Country, Strengthen our Great Military/Veterans, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment," Trump wrote.

"Ashley has my Complete and Total Endorsement - SHE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!"

Moody has also been endorsed by the Republican Party of Florida, U.S. Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), U.S. Reps. Jimmy Patronis (R-FL) and Kat Cammack, the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police, the Florida Police Benevolent Association, the National REALTORS Association, the Associated Industries of Florida, and more.
