American politics can get downright ugly and offensive, just ask Republican congressional candidate Jessi Melton.

Melton, who is running against Rep. Ted Deutch (D) in Florida’s 22nd congressional district, posted on her Facebook page a couple of disturbing emails she received from and an individual who obviously has his issues with President Donald Trump, and who appears to have a misogynistic slant to his being.

In addressing the emails, which she redacted and posted, Melton simply stated, “When they go low, we go high” and turned the attacks into a fundraising effort.

“I pray that everyone that supports Trump gets to see the inside of a prison cell before they face a firing squad.  You are an idiot if you support the worst example of a human being in history.

“I imagine you are taking money from the pieces of sh*t at the NRA too.

“Go back to sucking Trump’s d*ck!
